The four stations of the COPE group are all winners in the latest EGM radio survey from AINC. The group’s main channel COPE has reached the runner-up spot among the full service stations with 2.8 million listeners. The increase comes after last year’s introduction of Carlos Herrera in the morning schedule.
COPE’s largest music station, Cadena 100, increases to 1.8 million daily listeners. Rock FM has also improved numbers, while hit-oriented Mega Star FM has amassed 346,000 listeners. Prisa-owned 40 Principales remains the number one music station, but drops to 2.9 million.
Full-service Cadena SER continues to be the overall leader on the Spanish radio market and increases its daily reach från 4.5 to 4.8 million, with Hoy por Hoy keeping its lead in the morning. Competitor Onda Cero remains at 1.9 million, while public radio Radio Nacional is up slightly to 1.3 million.
